HelloChinese is an app that offers a relatively quick and easy way to learn Chinese. This app teaches Chinese using a method similar to DuoLingo or LingoDeer, two language learning apps that also include Chinese.
Open the HelloChinese app, and the first thing you'll have to do is select your current skill level. Beginners start with learning pinyin, while more advanced learners who have already mastered that skill can move on to syllables.
As you learn, HelloChinese offers short and simple tests as well as listen and repeat lessons to teach correct pronunciation, which you can complete with your Android device's microphone. Because learning a language is more than learning how to write, you also have to learn to speak.
